Embody to Empathize: Using Kinesthetic Experiences to Deepen Analysis and Practice Empathy–HTE 130

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Step out of your own body and into another. In this workshop, participants will experience a series of scaffolded kinesthetic activities through the frame of Lincoln Center Education's Capacities for Imaginative Thinking. After the experience and an opportunity to reflect with fellow educators, participants will walk away with an understanding of how to use embodiment techniques to support students in deepening literary analysis and practicing empathy.
