Whose Voice is Missing From this Story? Teaching Social Justice Through Narrative–HTE 222

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Are liberty and justice truly for all? Regardless of age or subject, students need to hear their own voices as well as those of others in the stories they read, the images they study, the tales they tell, and the art they create. Adding a social justice lens to your classroom may feel overwhelming or too time-consuming, but the barriers to incorporating this critical perspective to your curriculum are actually very simple to overcome. Learn, discuss, brainstorm, and return to your classroom ready to inspire your students to take action.
